Recycling of Waste Oils

Recycling oils is the process of collecting waste oils and passing them into processes including filter, hydrogenation and mixing, in order to extract valuable materials and separate them from non-useful materials, for reuse again. There are objectives of recycling oils including: • Reduce the rate of waste on the surface of the globe. • Prevent the waste oils to leak to agricultural land, groundwater, and water dams, as one gallon of waste oil can pollute one million gallons of water. • Reduce the cost of production, because the cost of recycled materials is less than the cost of new materials. • Energy saving, as the energy needed to produce refined materials is lower.

Internal Rate of Rate in Capital Budgeting Measures the Profitability of Potential Investment, it is a discount rate that makes the net present value (NPV) of all cash flows from a particular project equal to zero.

Payback period shows how long it takes for the return of investment, it does not show what the return on investment is.

Total Capital of the Project : 200,000 OMR
Internal Rate of Return : 82 %
